and I don't suggest building any ARK's on the south river... all them people in that fb group will start unloading fire power on anyone who dares to have a boat out anytime soon.

the chain is far more impacted by what happens north of here than what happens around here of course. rain around here is in and out pretty quick... rain north of here filters in and screws the chain...

but past that. i mean... looking at any of the water level graphs for the chain-- they are all below "no boat" level, and all above no wake level... so i mean. that's pretty straight forward imo.

The puddle on the right and the one on the left were connected this morning. The front yard ditch was completely full. The back yard had sticks floating. I should've taken more pictures. It's going to be a mess for a couple days then it'll be mosquito hellName: MVIMG_20180626_183809.jpg

Oh its fine. We had 4 inches of rain. Not like thats the norm. But it definitely needs attention. Maybe not this year but hopefully next. Get a dump truck of soil and level off everything. the tree line is higher than puddles. So raise the puddle area and get it to go into the trees is the plan.

sounds about right.

Chain watershed area is fucking huge

more importantly, this map shows just how much and why rain north of the chain can cause so much havoc in the chain.

KJ any flooding on the lakes?

I feel we are not in bad shape for all the rain we have getting. Especially since last July flood was caused from a single night of rain pretty much. LFRB calling for the heads of DNR employees for not managing the river good enough.

Like flooding sucks. Not boating sucks. Property damage sucks. But shut the fuck up I don't think they realize how much rain we actually got this month. I heard it was the 2nd most in 100 years. Idk to me that would make the odds of a 100 year flood pretty good. We didn't get a 100 year flood so I feel we doing OK.

the lrfb page makes me never want to boat down there ever.

as i posted above, the area has gotten 400% of the average rainfall for the past month... four. hundred. percent.

crystal lake in the one map for the last month has 15-18 inches of rain
