For me the oldest sleds I can remember my family having were mid 80's Yamaha XLT 2-up and Yamaha SRV.

1974 TNT 440 Fan.

Purchased for $30, 1 recoil rope, 2 spark plugs later and i was doing donuts in the street and jumping huge snow piles in the yard. Forever known as the dirty 30.

1974? Scorpion Sting 440 Fan

Purchased for $200, blowd out suspension plagued this machine, motor was a beast though, with a 6 bolt 440 Cuyuna engine it was one of the fastest of the 70s 440 sleds. Probably would do 50+ in good shape.

1991 Arctic Cat EXT

Bought it with no motor for $50, swapped in a 580 from Haydays and blasted around on it for the while. The Shifty 50.

Not sure of the exact year but my dad bought a late 60's/early 70's Evinrude trail sled that had a pop up headlight when I was 11 or 12 years old. Thing was a tank that wouldn't die or even break. I'm pretty sure he got his outboard boat motor from the same guy and that thing is like a 58 Johnson that still runs.
