air intake question

Car has died a few times when coming down from say 10 or 5 mph. Only does it once in awhile but is annoying i have jlt cold air intake putting air intake down by bottom of the ground with mass air still inside engine bay. Should i go back to inside cabin filter car never died with k/n setup but was told kennie bell wants filter in fender

Same thing happens to mine every once in a long while, I have the same setup as you, had the short ram intake before that...I think it has more to do with the tune than anything. My car has cams though so it is lopey at low RPM's

might want to check if the filter hasn't come loose... it sometimes falls off and this happens

I run an RAI, but don't daily drive car... I've run some logs and it gets IATs on hot days stop and go, but once going fine.

Stick with what you have and upgrade...unless it is going to be a 10'

There was a tsb or something from Ford bc of this issue, is the car tuned? If there is an aftermarket tune in the car do NOT take it to Ford to have the computer reflashed. Check the inake for leaks, check the throttle body, and make sure everything is tight. Clean your MAF and reset the computer/tune. If you have an aftermarket tb this could be your issue too.
