I had to replace the seal on my KB 2.2 and that was a breeze.
Id imagine the snout bearing is just as easy.
As for a local shop, cant help you.
I have sent Snails to SuperchargerRebuilds.com with great results.
They do KB's as well.

huh thanks for the info it just doesnt sound normal i would like to get both of those changed already changed belt twice and bought double bearing idlers still not it narrowed it down to something near the snout and supercharger pulley

so tryed to remove snout today to send off to kennie bell couldnt remove it blower coolant fittings in the way. Barely any oil came out when i had snout removed added some 50 w oil squeak is completly gone guess blower only had very little oil in it whole time it was installed
