Best place to buy FRPS

I just called my local ford dealer and they quoted me $102 for a fuel rail pressure sensor. I googled it and guys are talking about getting this part for under $50. Where?

I need to get one, Im retuning my car next friday w moore boost and I dont want any surprises on the dyno so want a spare.

Where do I get the disc? Should I just get the disc or another sensor as well?
I have heard KB makes a disck that prevents the frps from failing is this true?

Just picked up and installed a new FRPS for my freinds 03 GT. I guess there is a revised version for his 03 GT which I got from Ford. Cost was $93 after taxes. Car runs like a top now.

Oh great, to get through on the phone w them is like tryin to win the lottery. How much does the disc run? just curious cuz they dont show it on the site. And if I get the disc does that cure the diaphram pop in high boost/rpm?

From what I have read it is a fix in the fuel rail pressure sensor. It pops under high boost.

call steve at tousley ford he give you 10% over cost on parts

I paid $70 out the door at Al Piemonte Ford....I went through three of them.

Tousley will likely have the best deal on the FRPS (he did last time I bought one). The disk is very cheap, but it's hard to get a hold of Kenne-Bell to get your hands on one.

I've had two FRPS fail over the course of 110,000 miles. I do not run the KB disk.

It is supposed to prevent the fuel pressure spikes from violently "hitting" the sensor and damaging it.
