Question on rubbing... 03 cobra

Hey well I made up my mind and went with the 03 black cobra rims, Picked up 2 black 10.5 (315/35/17) rims and tires from this guy. My car is up on lifts because i need to get 2 front rims now and tires. I put the back tires on and there is a bolt that is barely touching the tire (there is a small gap and the car is not on the ground, due to the lifts.) If i put the car down will it rub or whats up... What should I do, any suggestions would be awsome! Thanks guys..

you need to get different bolts for the irs so you can fit the big tires back there!

oh and I had the same size rim and tire on my fr500s with no problems? I belive I have longer studs already...? when i bought the car. mb it's becuase its on the lifts?

its the offset of the wheels, the bolt head will allow for more clearence

or get wheel spacers.

Mine was close and I put on a 3/16" slip on spacer and it solved my problems.

I would b a little nervous about that mm bolt, its only like a 7 or 8 mm allan socket and it streips very easy. If ur not gonna do crazy 5-6k rpm launches w that thing consider a spacer, lot less headaches imo.

I just have 3/8" spacers and have about a fingers width of clearance with my Hoosier 315's and AFS 10.5" wheel.

Yep... you can just grind about 1/2 the head off the bolt or replace them with some lower profile bolts.

had same problem.........mine was touching when car was in the air....then when i put it down i had a half inch between there...now i also have my car lowered so that helps as well.....good luck

you will be fine, I have had mine on for 2 years now with no problem, when the car is down. as long as its not lowered,

the lower the better........the wheel doesnt come back in when its lowered.......there is not that much travel in the control arms....un less u have a monster truck!!
