03 cobra motor swap into foxbody?

Hey guys, Im new on here but I just picked up a 93 hatch with plans to install a 03-04 cobra motor. I know it is not cheep by any means but I am looking for information about what i need to install this motor. I know there are a few of you that have done this so if you have any info for me that would be awesome! thanks for your time.

just off the top of my head I can think of...

engine harness and computer
t56 trans and harness and driveshaft or whatever trans you go with
K-member
Heat exchanger set up
cobra fuel system or a better aftermarket return-style system

I believe "raresvt" did this in a 93 cobra, look him up and read his posts

The list of everything i used:

P/A k-member
03 cobra complete fuel system including tank
manual rack
manual brakes, didn't want to run the hydroboost setup
03 cobra cooling system
stock heat exchanger
I wired the complete car with the wiring from 03 cobra
custom made transmission crossmember
driveshaft

what is your goal with this project? do you actually HAVE the money to spend?

If you are just looking to make power, there are other ways that will be easier and cheaper.

But if you are just wanting to do something different and have the money, rock on!

I put more than that down with my 302
and it can be drivin day in day out with the ac and all power
it would be much easier to just use a windsor based motor etc..
and cheaper also
so it would be easier cheapier to stay pushrod.
Now if you were going for an all out custom that you plan on spending 30,000 on then maybe you could do it just to be one of those guys that just want to do it.
otherwise youll spend more money on the motor then the whole car is worth..
Id rather see the motor and trans put into a FFR Shelby Cobra Kit(what im doing)

Thanks for the help in the re search department. I am getting started on pricing everything out. I don't plan on touching my car tho untill I have everything I need. Just because I will be pulling and installing the motor at work. So i can use my lift to speed the process up and not to mention my tool box is there. But if anything comes to mind that any one can think of lemme know. thanks Matt

I had planned to do this to my car.............then I sold the car.

We are currently doing a 03 Cobra set up into a 99 GT. Nothing to crazy done to the motor but the guy wanted something differant. Let me know if i can be of any help.
