just got my new engine installed and was wondering if i need to get a break in tune .i have the stock 2004 cobra factory tune and a tune for the kenne bell .so iam wondering which one is safe to break in the new motor.it was recommended by the builder to break the engine in for 1,000 miles no boost and no revs over 4.500.any input apreciated.

Did the engine builder have a recommendation for you regarding the tune?

Just run whatever tune that corresponds to the mods you are running or have it tuned for those mods. The break in will consist more from the driving habit and less from the tune itself.

The tune will be fine, just keep you foot out of the floor for a while.

I personally try to drive about 500 miles no more than 1/2 throttle. Change the oil.
Another 500-1000 miles and change the oil again. Then let her rip.
