stock replacement spark plugs and gapping?

well ive searched everywhere. high and low and i cannot find which would be best for replacing stock spark plugs. i think i found that stock gapping is at 0.052-0.056 but is that right? im going to replace the plugs, belt, fuel filter and air filter (wont get clean anymore) so i want to make sure i got everything just right. the spark plugs are the only thing i dont know on this one

I'd recommend the NGK TR6's. They run great in hot temps.

Gap them at .035, no higher, for a boosted v8 car.

I thought the stock gap was 0.042, but I could be wrong.
The gap info is on a sticker under the hood.

I have the TR6i's and they work great gapped at 0.032, but I have a 2.76 pulley.
Why not just get a new set of stock plugs?

ALWAYS gap your plugs yourself. Even if they "say" they are pregapped, check each plug anyhow.

well this is why I'm having a hard time. I hear stock is this but our cars run better with this gapped at this. If there is really no diff on a stock car that's fine. I'll just gap to factory specs but I see 0.034 and that a big diff from 0.056. So which is better?

so still no great input besides zenriddles. Stock gap about 0.052 and he says 0.034. Huge diff there. Any inputs on either one?

Stock 03, no pulley just CAI with sct tune. Use TR6 plugs gapped at .40 and runs great no stumble, idles smooth.

sounds great. been hearing more about the tr6 plug but went to autozone and they didnt have it. is it called something else or should i head to a different parts store?

I ordered my TR6 plugs from Rockauto.com and had them the next day.

Dirt cheap too.

.035 gap on blown or nitrous applications is just standard fare. No big secret.
If you go much over .040 you run the risk of spark "blowout".

Go to your local NAPA store.Make sure you get the platinum plugs.
