I just dont need the thing blowing up in my face by itself.

any decent shop should have a snap on scan tool with the OBD I adapter. probably would do it if you throw them a couple bucks.

If you dont know of any, try my old shop i used to work at. Cannon Automotive Specialists. Its in Franklin park on Lincoln Ave right off Franklin Drive. 847 678 4425. Ask for Gary, and tell him Bundy sent you his way. They know there way around Mustangs, so your car will be in good hands. Plus, you could stand there with him as he does it probably.

That would be code 51. The airbag light is easy to figure out the code because it flashes it and keeps repeating. Unfortunately I don't have access to airbag codes for your car though.

my old notch did that for a long time so I wouldnt worry about it blowing in your face. I was told it was something in the steering column.... I forgot the name of the part.
