Thinking about cat back. which 1?

I want to put a cat back on my car but I don't want it to be annoying as hell while crusing @ highway speeds. I would prefer a SS system. I am not doing headers and I have a bassani X with cats. How loud can I expect some of these systems to be. And if I remove the cats how bad will it be?

Regarding your catback question...

Here are some things I wouldn't be getting if you don't want loud.

- Borla Stingers
- FRPP M55
- SLP

Don't get me wrong... I like the above, but, they will be more agressive in tone compared to -> Bassani, Borla 14858, Magnaflow etc...

Regarding your midpipe question...

I have had a Bassani midpipe with SLP and Bassani catbacks. Although I personally like the o/r midpipe sound better, it will be quite a bit louder when compared to a catted midpipe.

I would go Steeda or Quiet Borla part #14858 with the bassani catted X. I have this setup and it was a little too quiet, but then I took off the cats and it sounds just right. Switching out the cats was not too bad but does take some time. Good luck.

I just bought a bassani x with cats and put it on with the magnaflow catback that was on the car, it really woke it up and its sounding better and better every time i drive it. I dont hear it in the car hardly at all unless i get on it. I wasnt sure how it was going to be so i figured maybe i could trade someone if i didnt like it, but its deep and mean. A real good combo in my opinion.
