Got a dyno today, there are problems!!!

So my power is low but I was kinda figuring on that due to the car never been tuned and all but my problem is in the air/fuel ratio after 5500rpms. It shoots up past 18:1. I don't think a tune would cause it to do that. Someone said that the relay in the fuel pumps might be bad of maybe the pump itself.

All mods are in the sig. It's stock other than the o/r x-pipe.

are you sure that, the dyno 02 sniffers didn't mis-read once the A/F hit 10:1?


because it looks like it might have went sub 10:1 and then shot straight up

your numbers as far as HP goes seems normal. ive owned a 04 and a 03 and i swear stock for stock my 04 had more rwhp from the factory. so dont sweat the numbers. that a/f on the other hand is insanely bad. when i first had my 03 dynoed it ran like 350/355, then i smartened up and put a complete exhaust from the headers back, complete billet flow under pulley kit(2.76), custom tune, and cold air. immediately got me 120 xtra horses. im not from around there but it seems to me kurgan is the man to see :headbang:. fucking rice burning mfs will kill your car

IMO; there would have been much more of an erratic HP/TQ reading after the swing in A/F; but it looks relatively normal.

That's why I questioned the A/F sensor / reading, as being inaccurate.

but I'd wait for more people to chime in.

I highly recommend you to take your car to a decent shop who knows these cars such as kurgan, speed inc. sutton ford, DID, etc. and get it dynoed and see if your A/F is really off the hook or their equipments sucked!

You need a clean data log of your car. You can use a XC2, but you will need someone with a LM1 and a bung in your exhaust, then go from there.

Sure we do....dont ever go there again. If they ran your car like that and not shut it down thats red flags for you my friend. If you wanna a solid tune any sponsor on here is good. I wend with Kurgan of course.
