Steering noise ?

Whenever I turn left or right I hear a noise that kind of sounds like a metal cable that is getting clicked on.

Hard to describe. I want to saw a metal cable being twisted that kind of snaps or creaks 2 times a second as long as you turn.

Anyone experience such an ailment? Any thoughts

There was an issue with the mounting bushings for the steering rack. That may be your trouble.
Ford released some revised setup a while back.
Maybe a parts guy that knows what he is talking about (good luck) can help you find the right/new bushings.

Check your brake line near your rear tires. Mine actually snapped off the part that is connected to the base of the rear spring. Every time I turned it would hit against the wheel and make a clicking noise. I just redrilled it in and problem solved.
