Which catback is better?

I am trying to decide on whether to get the maganflow catback or the 3in mac catback. I have heard clips of both and liked them both. Which catback would you guys recommend though?

I think you're good either way, but, if you said, "Here... you can have one or the other for free."

I'd probably take the Magnaflow.

Ya I like both. I plan on getting the mac longtubes probably with an offroad prochamber. I noticed that the mac is aluminized steel so I'm not sure how that compares to the ss magnaflow.

Mac cat back is great! I wanted that real mustang sound before i even owned a cobra and as soon as i bought my cobra, i started to look for mac. great sound and performs well as well!

Mac does sell a stainless version of their catbacks for the 03/04 cobra.

Pretty sure that is only for their 2.5" setup... but I could be wrong.

MAC or Magnaflow will work fine.

I prefer the Magnaflow as it sounds killer at WOT; however, under normal driving conditions you can hold a conversation inside the car without raising ones voice. Also, no drone...

For fit n finish, I have had no issues with a UPR O/F X pipe and Magnaflow catback setup.

Ya I'm not sure how long the aluminized steel would last compared to the stainless steel. I never drive my stangs in rain or snow. I want something that is going to be loud and noticeable, without being raspy, and also last me. I had longtubes, offroad h, and magnaflows on my blown 06 and I thought the thing was quiet. Stinger are nice also but again a little on the expensive side.

Well from what I have heard and what has been recommended I would probably do the offroad prochamber with the 3in mac catback or an offroad x pipe with the magnaflow catback.

i know its not on your list but stingers w/ offroad bassani x-pipe FTW! i LOVED that combo on my car until i put mac long tubes on, those actually quieted it down a lot and didnt like it to much.

the stingers are awesome but are expensive unless I could find a slightly used pair for a good deal, but haven't so far.

The only difference right now... I sold the SLP catback and bought a Bassani SS catback.
