Is there a spot for a GT brake light under my spoiler?

Yeah there is a spot behind the spoiler. But there are also about 9 holes that will be left over on top of the lid as well as on the front above the plate.

And as mentioned you will need the GT wiring harness to use the brake light, as well as the GT guy needing yours to use the Cobra light - you can both just swap, they are the same exact thing except for two different plugs (Brake Light, Trunk Light).

those holes might be a pain in the you know what!! Must buddy just did a spoiler delete on his 04 GT and the holes kept poping in his old trunk lid, so somewhere he found a spoiler delete lid off a v6 car and had it repainted. I'm also thinking of going that route but I can't find and good trunk lids and ford wants $800 just for the lid.

I put a 2000 Cobra wing on my car about 4years ago. I installed and modified everything myself except the paint work. You don't need the GT wire harness and there is a lot more cutting than I expected to get the light to fit. Simply cut the plugs off the 2003 Spoiler light and the GT light and attach them using waterproof crimp butt connectors. I found that a dremmel with a large cutoff wheel worked best for modifying the trunk lid so the light would fit. And A good body man can fill the holes so you will never find them. Good Luck.
