Help!!

Installing new rear pads and rotors. Everything came off okay,but now I can't get the caliper to go back on over the new pads. What can I do?

get the caliper to open all the way...if that doesnt work you'll have to cut the rotor

In order to press a rear piston brake caliper you’ll have to use a special tool to do that,
the Piston need to be pressure press & turn all at same time in order to push the piston back ...... good luck

I'm sure you see that the pistons need to be turned back in, just like the Mustang's rear calipers. Quite a few other Fords with rear disc brakes are like that too. They can be a major pain in the neck for first-timers.

Lots of pads come with a sheet metal spacer you can take off to gain some extra clearance as well.
