I still have chatter in my DFX with 6K on it. You have to relearn how to drive the car. The clutch will not let the car take off anymore. You'll need to rev it to at least 1500 or so to get it moving w/o chatter.

Yea Im learning to drive it all over again its a different car. If I dont give it enough rpms the whole car shakes, cut the more miles I put on seems like its going away. I dont mind a little chatter its the nature of these clutches.

Obviously, you got it all back together.
Glad to see it turned out ok.

As for the chatter, it may diminish with some break-in.
But, you are right in so much as you'll have to relearn to drive it. That will help a lot.

As mentioned above, more rpms can help lessen chatter. Even with my stock clutch, I double touch the throttle when I start out. First touch raises the rpm a little, second touch is during clutch engagement. This method makes it easier to start out without chatter or lurching. So far 47,000 miles on the stock clutch.
