Low Fuel Pressure

I have an autometer fuel pressure gauge and it usually reads 35-38 psi at idle.
Now it reads 28-30 psi at idle.

Its lower since I just had my emissions tested, OBD test and they also test the gas cap pressure test! I did pass emissions too :biggthump

The fuel pressure does come up as i'm accelerating! I also have about 1/2 tank of gas.

Did the gas cap pressure test mess something up? I think they screw something onto where the gas cap goes and use compressed air!

What should the fuel pressure be at idle? 38 psi or so?

Mine is ~28 psi at idle.

It should be 39 plus boost or minus vacuum

1" Hg is ~.50 psi... so 39 PSI - 20 Hg (10 psi) = 29 PSI
