Default codes?

p0127...ignition sensor too high

p0234...engine overboost condition

p0230...ignition/dist engine speed input circut malfunction

p0352...ignition coil "a" primary/secondary circut malfunction

p0352...ignition coil "b" primary/secondary circut malfunction

p0353...ignition coil "c" primary/secondary circut malfunction

p0354...ignition coil "d" primary/secondary circut malfunction

p0355...ignition coil "e" primary/secondary circut malfunction

p0356...ignition coil "f" primary/secondary circut malfunction

p0357...ignition coil "g" primary/secondary circut malfunction

p0358...ignition coil "h" primary/secondary circut malfunction

p1229..elec throttle control circut.

the problems i am having are related to either ignition or mechanical, possibly valve springs or whatever, i was dropping off considerably top end, evident in my run...any options/ideas. these codes kinda solidify the ignition possibility???

input please

Didn't you just get a boost a spark? If so, I would start there, since it is EVERY cylinder

Sounds like it could be, or at very least a bad connection somewhere.

What was involved with the install of it? I know nothing about them. Could it be wired incorrectly?

Those eight ignition codes are probably related to the BAS. Did you ever find out where (if) it was mounted? The engine overboost code.....well, we know what that's from .....LOL.

BAS and those expensice coils are not worth it for these cars. It has been proven that these mods do not gain any power. All it does it let you open up the spark gap a little bit. I'm not running one and doing good. Id ditch the BAS. just my .o2

+1

When i had my 2.4 I only ran a BAP but never a BAS. There was no need for one.
