I have the Detroit Locker.... it is holding up great, but it is a noisey SOB.

I know they are the strongest thing out there besides a spool. If I didnt have a spool, the Locker is the only other thing I would consider putting in my car, or any other car that would be trying to launch hard at all. I'd have one, but they dont make a 33 spline version

detroit lockers can be kinda scary the way they clunk and then lurch

auburn cone posis are kinda weak by comparisson and are not rebuildable


dont underestimate the humble traction-lock. its durable and easy to rebuild.

I am very tempted to replace mine with a true trac.

my 95 cobra 3800 pound want 9.60 with 1.40 60 foot time on 31 spline auburn pro & strange axles with over 40000 miles on my setup & still is in car no problem

I run an auburn pro 31 spline and have never had any problems with it.

The Detroit Tru Trac is a stong and nice piece.......but if you want to go to a 33 spline axle it will not work......US Gear Makes a 33 splined diffy that you could use if you want to go with the 33's.......We just did one in a 03 cbr.....33 spline moser axles and US Gear 33 spline diffy and FRPP 4.10's......the CBR is gonna be in the 660rwhp-685rwhp range.....
