Well I just got off the phone with ESQEddy. He is on his way to run his car on the salt flats. Here is the before and after info. Now remember BOTH tunes were made very conservitive so that he could run all out for man miles not just the 1/4 mile. It was tuned at HHP.

Before:
Whipple 2.3L - 92 degrees F
676 rwhp
670 rwtq
at 23psi

After:
Kenne Bell 2.6L - 104 degrees F
707 rwhp
705 rwtq
at 20psi

He says he is VERY happy with it. He is running a 306 ci with every mod but still a stright comparison.

30rwhp/35rwtq gain with 3 less psi aint that bad. And remember he runs a VERY safe tune so he can go WOT for Five straight miles at the Salt Flats... Im sure with an aggressive tune the numbers would be much higher for both blowers.

I am gonna wait till there are a lot more people making the upgrade, used blower prices will come way down.

in my opinion they won't come way down... some higher mileage ones may drop to the 2,500-2,600 range... but not many people with 2.2KB and 2.3 whipples will be willing to fork over $1K and the hassle of swapping to go with a 2.6, so I expect good low mileage whipples and 2.2KB's to still go for $2,700-2,900

just my $0.02

A brand new whipple is $3100.... Paying $2800 for USED blower that you can get brand new for $300 more is crazy.
