How much can I lower my cobra and get away without having 2 align the front and rear? I would like 2 lower it 1in, but I would b satisfied w 3/4in. Also how would the ride b?

no matter what you do to lower it, it will have to be aligned. Go with h&r race with all of the stock ISO's

Lowering any car AT ALL changes the suspension geometry and needs to be re aligned.

Steeda Sport Springs will do that.The H&R go lower than that. Those are the ones I have and they are good for me. Only occasionally do I have to worry about scraping.

I'd take pics and post them but my car wont be back until tuesday.

as you lower the ride height, that alters both camber and toe (and bumpsteer if you have a bumpsteer adjustment kit installed)
