How does chicagosvt feel about NGK Iridium IX plugs? Are they worth the money? What's the purpose? RPM outlet says their ideal for supercharged cars due to the increased combustion pressure. How does everyone else feel about them? Is anyone using them?

I think Larry (gnxs) has tried them.... I just can't bring myself to buy an $8 spark plug. I will stick with my copper TR6s

yeah they are kind of expensive, thats why I ask first. I just bought a lot of aftermarket parts, waiting on ups. Was thinking that a newer more efficient plug would be a nice add on. If its more efficient that is.

Advanced Auto can order them for $6.9x each.... not that bad considering what I paid for the Brisk plugs

i have no idea about plugs for these cars. not to hijack the thread but on my car what kind of plugs should i get or would any brand be fine because im N/A. possibly doing some spray in a few months.

They are cooler plugs, I went with NGK TR-6's they'll do the same job,
and for a little bit less :biggthump

I would take anything RPM outlet says with a grain of salt.

The TR-6's work fine with lower boost levels and are $2 each.
The BR7EFS work well in higher boost level setups and are $2 each.
