Injector question

Is it easy to change injectors on a 99 cobra. I know 39 lbs is more than i'll ever use but i have a really good deal pending on those injectors and a matching maf, but all i have is exhaust, cai, twin 65 mm tb, and underdrives.

You can score 39lb injectors for $100 used from anyone. Is it really that good of a deal that you need to buy them now?

well its 125 for the injectors and a c&l 90 mm maf

I dont. The CnL MAF is crap anyways.

It takes like 2 mins. just pop the upper plenum off, it's re-useable gasket, take the egr off the manifold and flip it over onto the drivers side. then take the 4 bolts off the fuel rail to the lower plenum. Just twist the injectors to get 'em out, go to ford and buy new o rings, put the new ones in, and shorten up the injector pulse width because they are over kill for your mods.

If you dont feel like installing them yourself, let me know and i can do it for you. Also the new o-rings can be bought at any local parts store, i got some for my cobra and it ended up costing something like 12 dollars for all 16 injectors.

the C&L is junk.. I would pass if your not going to put some kind of adder on it

Bigger injectors arent going to do shit for performance unless you need the fuel. Might actually hurt you a little.

You will need a tune when you change injectors and MAF. The bigger injectors and stock tune will pump too much fuel.
