60# Injectors - Really Needed? LOOK!!

OK..... I just got a 4lb Metco Lower kit from some guy on SVTP and am concerned about having it installed. What am I going to need to have the 4# lower be ok to run? My mods are below and would like to get kind of a consensus.

1. Steg Port Eaton
2. 2.76 Billet Flow Upper
3. Four Pc Billet Flow Idler Set
4. Kenne Bell - 40AMP Boost a Pump
5. Afco Pro Heat Exchanger

QUESTIONS

Can I use the 4# Lower with the same belt??

Can I use the 4# Lower withOUT injectors?

Are 55# Injectors OK or should I man up and get 60#?

Is a new tune really needed with just the addition of the 4# Lower?

I think your MAF is gonna max out before your injectors. :dunno:

If you're gonna get injectors, you might as well get the 60's. An SCT 2400 MAF should be on your list too. And yes, you should look at a new tune or at least datalog to see where you're at.

These cars usually don't run out of injectors till you get closer to 550 hp. But you may already be close to maxing your MAF if it is stock... a 4lb lower would almost certainly max it out.

While your stock tune might compensate for some extra boost, it WILL NOT compensate for a different MAF or injectors. New tune required.

i was running 556hp on stick injectors, with no lean, the maf maxed out with all kinds of distortion. upgraded both, maf and 60's

My bad forgot to write that I already had the SCT 2400 Mass Air. Have what seems like to be a lot of mods and wasnt sure what mods were important in relation to my question.

I kind of think I need the 60#ers. Is it ok to buy a used set. Even more than is it ok would any of you guys do it?? Sometimes I see the Injector & Harness set for sale from someone who is selling their car.
