I just finished doing a solid axle swap on my Cobra and I am having a hard time finding an average sale price on a used IRS with 20,000 miles on it. Never broken a half-shaft or done any damage, I also have a Billetflow IRS brace on there. It is compete minus the rotors and calipers but includes shocks, springs, IRS brackets (to mount to the car), ABS sensors....

Whats a fair price to ask for this thing??

I was thinking $800 ish :dunno:

Thanks,
Jason

It is prolly worth your time to take off the IRS brace and sell it seperately.

I think I got $75 or even $100? for the brace. I traded the IRS for about $800 worth of rims/tires.

Stupid question time!!! I didnt install the brace myself, so I dont have the stock hardware that came off the IRS, if I remove the brace, would I just need to buy some stock diff bolts for the IRS and include the Billetflow hardware with the brace?? I'm not even sure how much hardware came with the brace :dunno: I bought it a while ago before I was feeling sporty enough to do the installs myself, so I just threw the box to my mechanic and said here ya go, bolt that right on there.....

The bolts go with the brace and you'd have to buy stock bolts to replace them. It'd be worth pulling it unless Ford charges ridiculous money for the bolts. You could always sell the IRS w/without the brace say for $75 price difference. Someone may pay the extra $75 and you won't have to do anything.
