Rubbing when steering wheel cranked to the right?

Does anyone else hear some sort of noise coming from the front end when you've got the steering wheel cranked to the right and you go in reverse? I've noticed this a little lately, and not sure if it's something to be concerned about or not. I've still got stock wheels/rubber on the front as well...

There is a dust shield that you may have bent if you had the wheels off recently. You can just bend it back a little see if this solves your problem.

I had taken my car in for warranty work and when I left... I almost cried cause it was so bad that I thought my car was broken! Come to find out the mechanic just reached in and straightened it out a little!

I have heard that too, but it only if I got thw wheel cranked ALL the way....

I am not very "noise sensitive" so I just deal with it.

it's the pump pumping fluid into the rack, if you're really quite you can hear it in any car. There's really nothing you can do. the lines make the sound resonate really loud because they are on the k member and resonate. try 2x tape maybe?

it could be the steering stops dry, put some grease in there

I go simple... everyone else goes extreme. On another note... that same visit from lower control arms replaced as I was hearing noises wheels cranked and more on inclines.

I have heard sort of the same ting. Mine is almost like a cracking sound when I turn it to the right. I talked to Larry from Speed Inc. when I had the work done on my car. He said it was just Ford's Crappy front ends so I left it at that.

The crappy water filled bushings in our control arms do no help.
