I have the red handled shifter, and was wondering...

I saw a thread a couple months back about a extension
to make the shifter handle longer, can't find the thread now

Susie, I don't know about the thread, but you have the older style shifter like me, that you can utilize two handles (red and blue). I think for $75 MGW will convert our older style to the newer one that only needs one handle (orange).

the orange hanlde is shorter than the red and longer than the blue. not sure on the extension that susie is looking for however. i have the red and its ok for me but i could see some needing a longer handle.
