anybody sc'd with 4.XX gears

i was thinking about jumping on the supercharger offer but i really think it my 4.30's would be way to much gear with a 5speed. anybody have any experience with this combo here?

Yep, Novi 2000 with my 4.30's. Its really fun but I had to either let off in fourth or go into fifth at the dragstrip cause I hit 120 (top of fourth) before the line. Makes the car really fun to drive around town

I ran a Vortech w/ a 3.33" pulley and 4.56 gears. Just had to jump up to a 28" tall tire for the track. The car trapped 128 MPH w/ that combo.

yea to compinsate for the gear you can run a bigger tire. on the street that car must rip. mikey venominside has a kenne bell 03 cobra and 410 gears he loves it. lot of guys are going to 4.10:1 in 03 cobras.

You can run a centrifugal supercharger with the 4.10's or even 4.30's and still not leave too much rubber behind when you don't want to. If you were planning on going with a Positive Displacement type supercharger like an Eaton/Roots, Kenne Bell/Twin-screw or Whipple/Twin-screw then I would highly suggest going with numerically lower gears like 3.55's or so.

Man that is insane! Do those guys have stock in the tire companies or what?!? hehe. Kenne Bell + 4V Cobra + 4.10 gears = tire mulching fun!!! They better have some really sticky tires and be great drivers to handle that combo. Seems like an uneccessary handful with the 4.10's unless they are able to stick it.

I've got 4.10's in my '01 and love it, haven't driven it with the blower yet.
