I just bought a 03 vert recently and am starting to mod it and strip the existing mods off of it right now. My question is if I add just the JLT CAI, SLP loudmouth exhaust, and SCT2800, can the XCAL2 tune the car without a dyno tune for the time being? I'm getting the XCAL2 b/c Sutton is closer to my house, than Speed INC is. I have purchased quite a few things from Speed INC before (had 00 targa vette, and 99 WS6), and will surely continue because they have some of the best prices. I am not to used to using a handheld flash tool, because I also had LS1 edit licenses for all my tuning issues, hence the question. Thanks for all your guys and gals help.

Talk to Doug and he will get out tuner Jerry to set you up with a custom tune. With the mods you are talking about it won't need to be dyno right now.
Now until the end of the year we have a great sale on X-cals. Call Doug to low to advertize!!
Thanks
Randy

I was going to do what you just said, but after my research the 2800 MAF doesn't work right with a lower power combo. I called SCT for my answers.

Why would they sell the BA2400 and BA2800 for the SAME price? Because they are for two different applications.

The BA2400 supports up to 700RWHP.

The BA2800 supports 600 to 850RWHP.

The BA2800 is for a non-street car, and WILL have driveability issues on the STREET, but comes into play where the MAF function is needed above 700RWHP.

The BA2400 is a street/strip MAF for 700RWHP and under, so it retains streetability.

I not just gonna stop at what I have listed. Once I get some cash together, upper/lower pulley combo, idlers, port the blower, maybe a little "juice" for whenever. Just want to get the biggest available, so I dont peg out the MAF.
