i used a coathanger (the old school metal kind that comes with rental uniforms or dry cleaning) and poked it through the giant grommet where the main harness goes through. done that for fuel pressure, oil pressure, and oil temp gauges. and im going to do it again when i do the fuel pump wire mod.
should be fun with 8awg cable...

thanks, one other question in the instructionsthere is an option to remote mount the sending unit. Is that needed or not...I think I am going to mount right to the valve with the adapter and be done. any suggestion's ? thanks

they suggest remote mounting for a reason...they work better that way (for a longer period of time)

buy the fittings and the hose and mount it on the firewall.

you may hear a strange ticking sound once you're done. thats normal.
