Hooking up an aftermarket radio with stock Mach??

OK... so yesterday I installed an Alpine (CDA-9835) in the Cobra that I had sitting around the house. Has anyone figured out how to hook up (rig) the 2nd harness so that the amps work? Anyone have a wiring diagram for that pigtail?

a quickie google search for "alpine head mach 460 amps" yields

Metra 70-5519

and a jillion pages on how it sucks to do it that way becuase ford misengineered the setup in the first place. ditch the mach460 parts and wire it up yourself the right way.

What will the Metra 70-5519 do for me? I would still have to do some rewiring right?

I just hate the thought of pulling all the stock stuff out & going aftermarket with everything.
