For the paltry sum of $20, they put my oil sample under the microscope, and created a database entry for me.

Since its just the first test, I'm establishing a baseline this time around. I'll post the others as they occur.

edit: it was an extra $10 to do the additive baseline to determine just how long i can extend the oil change interval (that is the whole point to synthetic oil, ya know)

I have ~33,000 on the car, engine never been unbuttoned. I dont track mileage on the oil becuase i dont change by mileage. I change by how it looks, smells, and feels. I'd rather throw it away 500 miles too soon than 500 miles too late...

I also put fresh brakes on the car and change most fluids after every track event (even if i just changed oil the week before) just for my own peace of mind. I spend a whole lot of time at full throttle and I realize its a bit outside the normal duty cycle :biggthump

But, you can see for yourself, the car doesn't seem to mind!
