Help, Smoke coming from engine.

Well Today i was out in my car. I only have 300 or so miles on the car. I got on it a little bit but nothing to big. I got home (5 mins later from when i got on it). and i realize that there is smoke (white/clear) coming from the master cylinder side. It was not the master cylinder but more to the northeast corner of the engine. I was guessing coolant but i could be wrong, anyone have any ideas?

There are times when the intercooler resovior is over filled from the factory or when the dealer preps them. Check to see if any of your caps have a whitish residue.

You're probably just burning off the coatings left over from assembly.

Mine had funky smells for the 1st 1000 miles or so.

Keep an eye on it and see if it gets better or worse. I had a mild anti freeze smell for nearly 10,000 miles that I haven't noticed now for a while. Maybe my antifreeze level finally got low enough to stop coming out of the cap. I love those problems that go away on their own...

They overfilled the master cylinder and all the brake fluid was leaking onto one of my cats.

That'll do it. At least it wasn't anything serious. You might want to check the rest of your fluids. And tire pressure.

My car smelled like skunk for at least 5000 miles, seriously, it was getting weeker all along but man it stunk.
