I recently changed over to a 2.8 pully w/no idler. I got lots of belt dust with the nonslip and gatorback 73.5 belt. well it started to fray on the edges and today when I got home the f#*ker was split right down the middle. What the hell is this from? I just 2 minutes ago ordered a 100mm idler and am getting a new GATES belt, proly a 74.
what brand nonslip pulley was it?

Homey, call Terry at SFPHQ and tell him what happened. That should not be happening. Actually, first take some pictures of the pulley ASAP. I'm hoping we didnt press it on backwards ??????????

If the pulley has grooves in it, it's the belt. I know that you cannot use the gatorback with the tru-grip RR and Billetflow pulley because the belt and tread don't match up and it eats the belt. Gates belt should fix your problem.
