FRP Sensor

OK, Ford is being a pain in the ass, so I am just gonna change the FRP sensor myself (or with help, if someone volunteers :biggthump .)

Does anyone know the part number? Any info on swapping it out?

OK, I did some searching on modularfords.com and I think I found the part number.

3R3Z-9F972-AA

Can anyone confirm that? I also read that after about 12/02 (mine was built before this) Ford switched to an updated FRP sensor, and I want to make sure I get the upgraded one.

Also, is this just a simple remove and replace job? Anything I need to know?

That is the correct part number, should be $62

After you get done swapping it out. Bring the old one back to the dealer. Get them to either replace it (so you have a spare) or at least get your money back. I vote for spare. :biggthump

UPDATE: Thanks to everyones help, I fixed it tongiht. Just need to change the oil again, and I am styling...
