I believe he means the Camaro SS with 6 speed manual.

But I have no idea how they would match up.

I would honestly say in a drag race it would fine just because the SS has a better gearing and has so much of that torque on the low end comapired to the 4V engine. The SS with its solid axle is also so much better even in stock form at planting that power to the ground. Now if you were speaking auto cross wise the Cobra would most likely prevail in the long run.

The SS should squeak out the win with equal drivers. With good drivers a stock SS can run 13.0@105 and a 01 Cobra can run a 13.3@103-4

(it did about a 13.60 quarter + or - )

and the 99 - 01 Cobras did about the same
