Hey guys I'm usually in the 3800 section, but I have a question. My dad has a 97 explorer with a 4.0 and it won't pass emissions. This might seem like a dumb question but does anyone have a tuner for this thing to remove the codes from the computer? I think its an evap code or something. If anyone would like to make some money doing ths for me let me know. Thanks!i

for evap check to make sure the vac/evap canister near the framerails is intact and not cracked, plenty of idiots lift em and crack the cannister causing egr or evap not to function.

happens alot on the vans since its at the RF frame lift point

I got a 97 4.0 as well. I use autotap to clear codes and its got a bunch of fun stuff 2.
