T56 inspection cover?

I'm thinking I should find out if i'm running a stock clutch or not...would I be able to do this by pulling the inspection cover? Dunno if this is a dumb question or not

When I had my evo, part of the clutch/flywheel was exposed and I was able to clearly see it was an exedy....would be nice if it could be that simple.

There should be a cover for the throwout lever which protrudes from the bellhousing. We can pull that off next time we put the car in the air and shine a light inside. That is about the only way to tell without pulling the trans down.

We will need to put the car up anyway to tighten up the exhaust, might as well do it then.

if you pull the inspection cover and see a grey/metal color on the pressure plate that is a stock clutch.
