If you have Napa with a machine shop in it like my local Napa in Antioch does they change the springs over to new struts for cheap.

Bring them to a local shop like Goodyear or Firestone ect. I'm sure one of them will do it for cheap. Or rent the tool for free from an auto parts store and do it yourself

x500 for the spring compressor rental. With an impact they make short/easy time with strut R&R.

I looked into it. The spring in free state is 15" but with installed (suspension unloaded) the spring is around 11". With that difference I don't feel safe using the rental. I need a back up plan and I was able to find a shop that will help for a fee.

Thanks for the ideas.
