Default Paxton/Vortech/ProCharger?

Been kicking around the idea of boosting my Coyote. I've read up on it, and it sounds like the way to go is through Paxton, Vortech, or P1SC. Differences between the three? I'd lean toward the Vortech based on the reports of how durable they are. I know they are all centrifugal blowers with self contained head units. Any experience on here one way or another?

Vortech and Paxton are the same company so keep that in mind when your considering Quality.

The Paxton kits have a lot of headroom if you decide to upgrade later, otherwise any of them will easily and reliably make the 600whp that the coyote can take in its stock form

This is important. Try to buy one that is scalable so if you decide to push the setup harder you can without buying whole new units and ultimately wasting money.

Yeah I don't see myself going into the motor. Then again if I blow it, and want to build it bigger, the ability to go 1000+ would be nice...

I did thorough research on this when I owned my 2014... all signs pointed to paxton. go through beefcakeracing. call him for his best pricing.

can easily make 600whp and run 10s on his $5400 kit

I'm waiting on these guys to finish their Coyote Lower manifolds so I can slap an M122 or 2.3 TVS on it. Dat Sound.

I love the centri blowers. I am a little biased, but I run the Paxton Novi 2000. It is a big boy blower and I am running low boost, but it still make great PAH and the car is a blast to drive. As it was mentioned before Paxton & Vortech are one company. Any of the manufacturers listed you cannot go wrong, but pick a bigger blower to grow into.

D1 or bust. I had a p1 that I maxed in my 2v. A D1 at like 5-6lbs would be fine on a stock bottom end and make well over 800 turned up.

This guy knows what he is talking about!

I put a D1 on an 04 mach 1 about 8 years ago...... I had to buy bigger pulleys because I was creating tooo much power for the bottom end of the motor.

The thing was reliable, and oh my lawd did it sound fucking mean...

What power were you making?

I am running a 3.5" pulley and making around 500RWHP on a stock bottom end.

Whoa. 3600-4k for a full kit?

edit: nevermind, that was minus the blower.

Agreed. If going Procharger then don't even bother with the P1 head units. Just go straight for at least a D1 for a street car. The P1's just max out too early for most people who want a blower to grow into.

They were saying with the blower for under 5 if they provide it all, the manifold will be in the $2300-2500 range.

On the smaller pulley it made like 480 at like 6k rpm (fuel issues). So I got a bigger pulley and fixed the fuel pump and kurgan put it at 457 and it last ed for three years!

I don't know if I would go to 500 that's scary

I made 466 @ 6,250.

Car kept wanting to make power and Hans did not want to run further on the dyno. Kurgan was busting his balls why he was stopping short on the pulls. Looking at my dyno graph I estimate ~500 to the wheels by 7K. I pull to 7K on the street and the car has lasted 2 years so far ***KNOCK ON WOOD***!!!!

A friend down here made 680 at 6k rpm with a paxton 2200 at 10 psi I believe. He was running out of fuel so they cut the pull short. He eventually did a fuel system and retuned on e85. Should be north of 700 with a stock bottom end.
