Whipple owners come inside

For all the single blade whipple owners, is there a relief on the right side of the inlet for the throttle body blade. mine has a cut in it but it doesn't seem like the blade would have hit in the first place.

I haven't removed the sticker off my 2.9 yet to see if the relief is there. What size blower is that?

thats a 2.9, but if it is supposed to be their it will be on single blade 2.3 inlets since they are the same.

it could have something to do with how it is machined. since the id of the opening has been machined by whipple. it was definitely made by a end mill. I doubt it hurts the functionality
