Racing Junkies.. i am bringing the Shelby to Route 66 Joliet for Fridays Test and Tune and if the weather is good Saturday to Union Grove. We (Gearheads) and Wiseguys have the track. Every type of car is welcomed. Hopefully i can get traction with slicks... my crappy driving and drag radials only ran a 10.69 @137 with 2.2 60 ft

If you're planning on running 10's, I hope you have a cage in the car. Joliet is very strict on tech, and follows the NHRA rulebook to a T

I know.. I have been tossed from 66 with other cars... It is close to the house. 1 good blast, then I will run my fox body and go to the Grove on Sat with the shelby

Be glad if you did not go ... their till 10 got in three runs.. car ran terriable, 11.7 at 119 was breaking up in every gear after second, ran to lean 10/1, ran great to almost 1/8 mile 7.14... time for retune

Sounds like you have a problem. If you have run the car with that tune before and it ran fine, and you haven't done any significant mods to the car since the tune, a retune will do nothing for you. You need to figure out why it's misfiring and leaning out.
