How much air do I shoot into the cylinder to do this valve spring? psi

Can I unbolt the rear girdles one at a time without the cam coming up or getting out of phase. I need to get the model number of the crowers off of the back of the cams but that rear girdle is bolted over it.

40-60psi will work.

If you take an inspection mirror and place it under the cam, you can read it without removing the cam tower cap.

Crower says my numbers are on the section under the rear cap. They arent visible with the cap on.

In that case it is indeed safe to remove a.cam cap one at a time. Just be sure to tighten it down evenly.

Im seeing in the Ford service manual that the tq specs for the cam tower caps is 89 in lbs. That seems kind of weak. Does thread locker go on these bolts?
