Holy Crap. Went out for lunch today. Now I know why these things suck in hot humid weather. Sluuuugish.
Purchasing Killer Chiller.
ive never heard of this killer chiller you guys speak of, what is it?
Yep...bad when Iat's are above 140. I have a bnib KC... just don't know what car to put it on!

Instead of pumping hot air from hell into motor you now start jamming snowflakes into engine.
sounds technical
uses the a/c system to cool the intake charge...i believe.
For you, very very technicalsounds technical
Procharger ate babies in humid weather.
I loved my heaton in Dec. but now, not so sure.
okay, so a centrifugal cools using a a/a set up thereby eliminating heat sink? But a heaton has a mini radiator under the intake right.
So I would think with a seperate cooling system this would be a non-issue but so far I think I'm wrong.
How many on this board are running the killer chiller?
Does a bag of ice on a towel on top of the engine do anything (I've seen this at the track)
Not as effective unless your waiting/not driving the car...,the kc cools the car under normal driving conditions lowering iats as low as 70 degrees from what ive readokay, so a centrifugal cools using a a/a set up thereby eliminating heat sink?
