To rebuild my trans or not?

I was thinking of rebuilding my trans over the winter and getting a new clutch anyone know of any sites or places to get a good rebuild kit or should I just end up buying a whole new trans?

Have you ever rebuilt a trans? If its a no, save some headaches and just pull it and take it to a shop to have them do the rebuild. There is no need to buy a new trans. If you are looking for a warr. you might need to have a shop do the work. A lot of shops will not warr. anything if they dont do the the install/removal.

I'm not gonna be doing the work no I was just gonna buy a rebuild kit and pay someone to install it I don't know much about transmissions to do that on my own

Call up D&D preformance. they know t56's like none other. they're located in wixom MI and honestly, i would just go for a drive and have them rebuild it. they can even rebuild it to the "viper spec" for cheaper then a new trans. plus i think (could be wrong) they have a warranty on their work even if they dont pull it out of the car themself's.
