Googled it and a link popped up with some numbers... you're right, limited my ass. If you thought the 03-04 depreciation was bad wait a few more years on these things.

22,989 total 2007-2009 GT500 production
4,458 total 2010 GT500 production
3,125 total PLANNED GT500 production

30,572 TOTAL 2007-2011

Without me having to go to SVTP, does anyone know the production numbers from 07-11 GT500's?

I still can't believe the Koolaid people are drinking on these things?

Makes an 07 Z06 with <10,000 miles for $40K seem reasonable.

What have you been finding for used prices? I know what I have seen, just wondering what you think a used one should go for. Since you said that the z06 is looking better.

A 07-09 Z06 stickers for between $75-90K and used with less than 10K miles they can be had for $45-50K.

07-09 GT500s stickered between 40-50k and still going for mid to upper $30k. Way to close to sticker.

I just can't justify buying one when the Z is a FAR superior performance value. If the GT500's were in the upper $20k range I could justify it. I really want a Sellby, though.

Plus, I have a weekness for the 325's out back on the Z. You can barely tell the difference between the tires on a 6 and the Shelby unless your close enough to have your pecker in the exhaust pipe

No different than what some people think the 03/04's are worth, but I really think the issue is the z06 was way over priced hence the greater drop in depreciation. Not to mention the old mans name on the back(I dgaf about it, but a lot of other people do)

Buy it. I have never seen a deal like that and I would assume you haven't either. Thats essentially a brand new, fully loaded, Z06 for 30K off.

Saving for house and Saving for MBA.

This would divert my attention somewhere it doesn't need to be.

I'm sure the bad economic will further depress the auto market anyways.

I'm not going long on anything right now. Although I could pay cash for it. Hmmmm

At least I know I'm not the only obsessed person who trolls multiple make/model auto forums.

It was a sloooow night at work and forgot to bring my Dostoyevsky.

...although maybe I've been looking at this one too much lately

Then there's that guy like me that's over his head and should sell even though he doesn't want to. You can have mine for 40G's. Under 4000.00 for Evolution's 2.9 Whipple ( "IF" the gossip I heard is true ) and some sticky tires and those ZO6's will be cry'n, much less a whole lotta other cars.
