...unfortunately not at my house, but in general after much clamoring Whipple put the 2.9 together for the 03-04 Cobras and tossed in a huge freak of a blower that is utterly pointless for a street car for shits and giggles.

Just saw the following tidbit from James at RWTD:

Here's some rather exciting news after receiving my new installing dealer price list from Whipple today:

2.9L
WK-200107B (or P for polished) - 03-04 Cobra SC Tuner Kit / Black / Aftermarket TB / 3.50" SCP / W175AX# - MSRP $3,899.99 (Polished = $4,199.99). MAP will be $3,704.99 (Polished = $3,989.99).

4.0L
WK-200120B (or P for polished) - 03-04 Cobra Crusher SC Tuner Kit / Black / 3.50" SCP / Mono Blade TB / 123mm CAI / W245AX# - MSRP $5,799.99 (Polished = $6,249.99 more). MAP will be $5,509.99 (Polished = 5,937.49).

I don't have any pictures to share, but hopefully we can get something from Dustin @ Whipple before too long. I'm not sure what type of inlet the 2.9 will be using. Also, the 2.3 and 3.4 will continue to be offered. These two just adds more options for the Terminator. I also don't have any timeframes as to when they will be released. Maybe Dustin will chime in soon.

i don't get why they would make a blower that damn big, anyone wanting to make more power than a KB 2.8 will put out is probably going to go with a centri, turbo, something more efficient..... or just add spray to a smaller blower

hermann's setup look sick though, love the valve covers

Because now you can get pretty much the same power as the turbo/centri with the flat torque curve and instant boost of a roots/twin screw blower.

Plus, its just ol' school Americana to see a giant fucking blower under the hood.

If only they'd make kits to fit the 5.0/5.8.

My 2.3 isn't going anywhere for now.
There will to have to be some really significant increases to make that jump worthwhile.
There will certainly be some increases, just how much is the question.

Even though the 2.3 isn't quite as strong as the 2.8 KB, it's no slouch and is plenty for street use when tuned properly. I don't see it,the 2.9 Whipple being that much different than the 2.8 KB.
