Evolution Performance has been ringing out their new 5.0L and have been throwing around the results as well.


Bone Stock = 12.85@111 w/ 2.0 60'

+ 15" ET Streets = [email protected] w/ 1.80 60'


Bone Stock Dyno = 369rwhp / 352rwtq

+ Off-Road X-Pipe, Catback Exhaust System, K&N Drop In Filter, and a Custom Tune = 405rwhp / 375rwhp

I was told by someone in the inter circle that it was not be 100% "stock" I was on the phone with them as evo was making the passes. They had a better number than that 12.85 on a stock tire also, was in the .60's.

Im just going by a link to Evo's facebook page that someone posted. I did hear something about LCA's being on the car for the "Bone Stock" track runs... dont know if ther were any other little things

No not at all, I'm not saying the GT500 is overpriced (by that much), but from all the reviews the GT is right there with the cobra performance wise for 20k cheaper, which also has an aluminum block.

The margin was MUCH larger before.

However, solid numbers have not come out yet for the new cobra with the alum block either.
