Looking great! Fore is definitely some top notch shit. For some reason I love seeing sumped tanks, it just screams BAD-ASS to me.

Well to my dismay, after hours of work trying different ways of shimming and such i have come to the conclusion that the Kooks Custom headers (which i was told would fit) arnt going to fit
and they just look so darn good on the engine!

They hit on the passenger side right by the rear mounting spot for the k member
Then i started making templates out of card board for 1/4" ply i am going to used to finish off the back area of the car

didnt have time to get wood, so i moved on to trying to fit the dash back in...... Wolf told me that the dash bar allows for the installation and removal of heating and air...... WRONG, the dash bar comes in contact with EVERY SINGLE AIR/HEATING TUBE IN THE BACK OF THE FREAKEN DASH!

needless to say, i was not happy by this point
so i decided to move on to painting the battery box. Due to transporing my snowboard, the box got scratched up pretty bad so i decided to give it a painted finish to hide all of the imperfections

I needed a WIN by this point really bad, after all these disapointing failures i was having, so i decided to just go ahead and drop the engine in all the way and bolt it up!

Just so you know, the headers hit in the same place on the '03 Cobras too. You have to adjust the floor with a hammer then all is good. not a big deal.

The Bassani's and the Mac's require a floor adjustment on the '03-'04 Cobras. Not sure with your body style, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it needs it too.
As I said, its not a big deal, takes 2 minutes

I think we are talking about 2 different kinds of "adjustments" lol, cause when i tried to bolt it up, the headers were already hitting about 2" away from the k member bolting up to the frame

OK, I don't know how much difference there is between the body style you have and the '03s but maybe someone else does.
On the '03s you needed about an extra 1/2 inch or so, not a lot.

Also, I could see what happened to you occurring if the engine was at the wrong angle as it was being positioned back into the frame on the k-member.

Either way, let me know what you figure out.

Well besides one 90 Degree fiting that i was short, the fuel system is run! it consists of glenns performance duel walbro sumped fuel system, with Fore fuel rails, and aeromotive fuel pressure regulator.
It has 1 feed line running up both sides of the car,and a return line running on the driver side
(so thats 2 lines on the driver side, and 1 on the driver side

Well its been a while, and i have gotten a decent amount done on the car, Still waiting on a trans tho guess the car wont be out till next year, but heres a little up date
Thought you guys would find this kind of cool. Im going to be running a kirkie aluminum race bucket in my fox, and had trouble finding a good bracket for them (first ones were WAY to flimsey)
So then i went with these over the top, seat brackets
took me a couple of days to cut everything to size, and then i had to learn how to tig one these, which i think turned out pretty well!

then half painted (i used por15 which actually turned out GREAT, and am re-doing the whole cage like this)

Looks good but that was a ton of work and bars to just mount the seats. Holcomb sells mounts for kirkeys as well as the mount that goes on the rear of the seat and to the cage.
